2/20/2024 0 Comments Nds emulator kindle fire![]() You are just in denial rn, and you dont need to be a lawyer to actually read a bit about specific laws, just do a tiiiiny bit of research on this subjects and you'll see how careful they have to be about that. You legit have no clue of what you are saying, please educate yourself on the subject before further tagging me lol. Then again, you might be right, but I’m not going to accept the reply of some dude who was probably salty about what I said on another post, and clicked on my account, and decided to try crapping on my non related posts. Also, browsers have a limited amount of recourses they’re allowed to use from the computers they’re on, and when PokéMMO first came out, maybe it wasn’t a viable option because of hardware limitations. ( I mean, honestly, I’m not a lawman, so if anyone knows better than me or this dude, please speak up) And as to why they haven’t done it yet, maybe they hadn’t thought of it. Why would there be different legal issues? And I’m not saying they should skip the part where you supply the roms, because you can still do that through a web clients. It’s literally the same thing they’re doing, minus the downloading process of the shell client. Putting it on a web app breaks zero laws lmao. If they would get in trouble for making a web client for the code, then they would have gotten in trouble for making and distributing the code itself in the first place. There would be no risk of property theft because they haven’t stolen anything XD. Do you really think if it was a possibility they wouldnt have gotten into it already? It means more money on their pocket, so why would they have avoided it for so many years?ĭude, what you don’t seem to understand, is that PokéMMO itself, is not the game, but a code that uses the content of the Pokémon roms. But what I said pretty much sums what happens, generally if it can crash with Intellectual property theft, copyrights problems (all of wish pokemmo does, and managed to still be online due to all the loopholes, like what I said as an empty shell client, not refering pokeballs and other trademarked words etc on website aside the name, vanity not having the right pokemon name, etc), while its possible to provide the client, it already becomes a whole different scenario, as explained above and on the other post. Its not the same thing, I wont double post as im mobile and cba really, but simply put its not a valid option, im not a dev here to fully answer, nor will they answer most likely. You would need a fairly powerful iPhone though, X and up probably. I was saying, if things like Eclipse GBA emulator, and the DS emulator are possible on a web browser, then there is a possibility that you could run the client off of iOS without the need of jailbreak. I was referencing kindle as a low budget weak device, I wasn't saying if it can run on kindle it can run on iOS. I know that iOS and android run different types of applications. Not to mention it would then also promote 3rd party program usage in a way less controlled environment. Same reason as to why they sont provide you a full client, just a shell, and you provide the assets to the client. ![]() ![]() Plus legal issues can happen aswell im guessing. apk which then allows you to install and play, thats the difference. With that said, wdym web app? You mean browser client? Not feasable either from a developer pov. We support operating systems that not even Microsoft and Apple themselves support anymore, such as macOS on PowerPC Macs, and RetroArch being available on Windows OSes as far back as Windows 95.For you to play it on iOS you'd need to forcefully jailbreak it and thats not something they seek to encourage, therefor it is not something you should hope to see in a foreseeable future. ![]() RetroArch can run on the usual platforms like Windows, macOS and Linux, but it stands alone in that it can support far more platforms beyond just that.
